UNITED BANK is a share company established on 10 September, 1998 in accordance with the Commercial Code of Ethiopia of 1960 and the Licensing and Supervision of the Banking Business Proclamation No. 84/1994. The Bank came into existence by obtaining a license from the National Bank of Ethiopia and by being registered with the Bureau of Trade, Industry and Tourism of the Addis Ababa City Administration. Its Head Office is in Addis Ababa and is located in the elegant MEKWOR PLAZA, Woreda 20, Kebele 40, on Debre Zeit road. Its main branch, BEKLO BET, & THE INTERNATIONAL BANKING DEPARTMENT are located in the same building.

OBJECTIVES

The main objective of the Bank is to carry out commercial banking business and thereby to engage in all transactions and operations related to short-term financing.
