ACCSSA has deployed 100 female University graduates and students !!

 The Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations has deployed 100 female University graduates and students to work in promoting the Chamber and recruiting new members for two months vacation time –July 1 – September 9 2012.  Based on the consultation made and understanding reached with the Addis Ababa University Faculty of Business and Economics, and the Addis Ababa College of Commerce, 100 female students who are volunteer have registered to take part in this activity. Accordingly 80 students from Addis Ababa College of Commerce and 30 students from the Addis Ababa University Faculty of Business and Economics have registered and about 100 have participated in the orientation programme organized by the Chamber towards deploying the students.

This programme has the objective of Enabling the chamber to promote its services and to recruit more members, Providing the students an opportunity to get jobs in the private sector, Enabling the students to have experience on entrepreneurial skills so that to plan and start entrepreneurship as an alternative career path, Enabling the students to enrich their theoretical knowledge with experience and practical applications. 

In addition this programme will create future partnership and cooperation between the Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations and the University as well as between the university and the private sector especially in relation with professional manpower demand and supply.

Moreover, it is believed to be an important initiative to create the culture of providing voluntary services by the young professionals.
