Ethiopian Export statistics
Ethiopia exported goods with a value of 3.153 billion birr in the year 2011/2012(2004 E.C.). Coffee is the leading export commodity with 26% share of the total export while gold, oilseeds, chat, live animals, flower, pulses, leather and leather products, textile and garment, meat, fruits and vegetables, spices and tantalum are major export items accordingly. China is the leading destination country for Ethiopian products in this year with 10% share of the total export while Germany and Somalia stood second and third. Saudi Arabia, Netherlands and Sudan took the fourth, fifth and sixth place.
