INTRODUCTION

1-Great Abyssinia Private Limited Company established in Ethiopia has major experience in the production and trading of Coffee.

The owners of the company have a rich and varied experience in the business scene of Ethiopia. The market potential of coffee and the general investment climate created in the country has encouraged share holders who have ardent desire to diversify their business in this vitally important sector.


2- ESTABLISHMENT

After years of coffee manufacturing and trading the enterprise has been reorganized in to a private limited company in January 2003 with a capital of Birr 8 million fully subscribed in cash by three brothers. It is also renames as Great Abyssinia P.L.C to associate it with the glory of the ancient Abyssinia.

3- OBJECTIVE

Our objective is to export Ethiopia genuine and high quality Arabica coffee to all destinations i.e. Europe,Asia, Middle East and America.

4- MISSION

The basic purpose of Great Abyssinia P.L.C is to render unmatched satisfaction and value to its esteemed customers through quality services and products and earn optimum return on share holders’ capital. It is the company’s intention to be symbolized by fast and efficient delivery and superior products for getting different group of customers.

It strives to continuously improve the quality of products based on customers needs and wants to exceed customers expectation and ensure lasting loyality.

  



5- WHAT DO WE EXPORT?

Our company, with long years of coffee business behind it, exports all the major coffee types from ETHIOPIA, which are named after the localities in which they are grown.
The coffee are categorized as:
(SIDAMO, HARAR, KEFA, WELLEGA, YIRGACHEFE)
 
5.1 Roasted coffee 250 gm, 500gm and 1kg
5.2 Ground coffee 250 gm, 500gm and 1kg 		   


6- MANAGEMENT AND TECHNICAL STUFF

Great Abyssinia P.L.C is managed by well experienced executives who have been in the coffee business for a very long time. The compay has Import and Export department with highly qualified exports. Our man power policy is to organize each sector with fully competent techno commercial professionals with full decision making power.
