Real Estate Development

Gift Trading PLC has recently embarked on real estate development and plans to expand this line of business in the future. Already it has built three blocks of apartment buildings on 1800 M2 of land close to Bole International Air Port. The apartment are located in a first grade residential quarter of Addis Ababa which is also very much in demand for NGO and business offices. The construction and finishing work have already been completed and the apartments are now ready for rent.
The company is also under construction of a five story building at Nazareth city.

Resources and Facilities
Although GIFT TRADING PLC is still a young and developing company, it has already accumulated substantial fixed and moveable assets. The successes of the company's business operations have earned it the confidence and respect of the banks and the latter have always been ready to accommodate its needs for credit facilities.

1. HUMAN RESOURCE

The company that started as one-man operation not more than a decade ago has been systematically building its human resources base and now raised its total personnel to 93, of which 52 have college diploma, degrees and above. Its managemeent staff is well-seasoned professionals with university degrees in various disciplines.

2. WAREHOUSES

GIFT TRADING PLC has four large warehouses with a net holding capacity of 8633M3, at its disposal. In addition the company has four branches and 18 sales representatives strategically located in different parts of the country. Thus providing it with a net works of sales outlet that give it access to a substantial proportion of the country's important markets. Each branch has its own warehouse to accommodate even bulk goods; most of the company's stores are located in the commercial centers of Addis Ababa.

3. VEHICLES

GIFT TRADING PLC is gradually increasing its fleet of vehicle, which presently includes heavy-duty trucks, delivery vans and pick-ups, automobiles and station wagons. For moving and delivering bulk commodities, GIFT TRADING PLC has sub-constructing agreements with private transporters.
